

The Perfect Story Pt2Getting up, Daniel stretched and took a cursory look around his room, the four small walls that had been his prison the past week while he had been fighting a losing battle with his inspiration. Contract work with the local newspaper, ‘The Morning Tribune’ was flowing in less and less frequently and silently Daniel wondered to himself how he was going to maintain this pathetic hovel of an apartment that, over the last year had grown on him to the point that the eventual move that his lack of finances was suggesting would result in a catastrophic lifestyle change. “Christ,” he whispered to himself, “I’ve got no room for anything as it is. "The Perfect Story"“Writers block…Why now?” was the first thought that had streaked through Daniels head in the last ten minutes. The pained expression on his face as he raised his glance to meet that of his current nemesis, his quietly humming computer monitor, told more of a story than he had been able to and as Daniel noted his reflection staring back at him with a sombre face that couldn’t possibly be his own. Entranced by this spectre of his soul, this reflection of his innermost feelings Daniel began to lean towards the monitor to closer study this reflection and whatever secrets possessed.
